On January 7, the Forum on Co-building of School of Agricultural and Forestry Economy of Tongren University and the Government of Dejiang County is held at the Conference Room of Wujiang School of Agricultural and Forestry Economy. Luo Runsheng, a department-level ombudsman and a member of the Leading CPC Group of Education Department of Guzhou Province, Li Shuxin, secretary of CPC Tongren University Committee, Luo Hongfang, vice president, Zhang Zhenqiang, secretary of Dejiang County CPC Committee, Shang Youjiang, the head of the County and the deputy secretary of the county CPC committee, He Xianmei, director of Dejiang County NPC Standing Committee, Chen Jian, chairman of Dejiang County Political Consultative Conference, Yang Hongbo, head of the Propaganda Department of Dejiang County CPC Committee, Tang Hong, head of the Organization Department of the county CPC committee, and Yang Xupeng, the deputy head of the County, are all present at the Forum.

Over the Forum, Deng Chongquan, secretary of the General CPC Branch of Wujiang School delivers a report on the construction, teaching management and student work of the School. Yang Xupeng, deputy head of Dejiang County delivers a brief speech, going over the supportive efforts made by Dejiang County for construction and development of Wujiang School.

Li Shuxin stresses that running a university should follow proper teaching principles and can not be accomplished in an action. It is impossible to only rely on the number of students. Teaching quality and characteristics should be emphasized. A university should play a leading role in a city, and should help promote upgrading of local industry and have the ability to facilitate local social and economic development.

Luo Runsheng speaks highly of the cooperative school running mode adopted by Tongren University and the Government of Dejiang County, and expresses his hope that the two will carry onward the cooperation, and follow teaching disciplines, and constantly enhance the scientific research level, so as to offer high-quality talents with solid foundation, innovation spirit and practical ability that meet the need of local social and economic development.

Luo Hongfang points out that Tongren University will continue to contribute to the social and economic development of Dejiang, and concentrate efforts on building Wujiang School into an applied characteristic school with distinct features, prominent highlights, and remarkable ability to serve economic and social development of the locality.

Zhang Zhenqiang says that Dejiang County will also continue to support building of the Wujiang School, and will invest more human resource and financial resource in development of the School, so as to build it into a local service-oriented university with certain influence.

At the end of the Forum, Zhang represents on behalf of the People's Government of Dejiang County that it will cooperate with Tongren University according to related agreement, and will supervise performance of the agreement, strengthen the sense of ownership and the service awareness, and build Wujiang School into a successful example.
