In order to strengthen the macro-direction and management of the provincial talent development, emphasize the guiding function and increasing enhance the standard of the colleges, on May 6th, Guizhou Province Ministry of Education held the meeting of launching the Steering Cimmittee of Guizhou Province in Guizhou Normal University. Seven teachers from our unveristy, President Hou Chang-lin, Vice-president Tian Yong-guo and Luo Hong-fang, the Dean of Studies Department Shu Hua etc. attended the meeting. And the meeting was hosted by the Dean of High Education Department, He Xiu-qian.

Seven teachers from our university were employed as the members of the Steering Committee. Hou Chang-lin was hired as the member of the Steering Committee for Evaluation and Monitoring; Tian Yong-guo was hired as the member of Professional Construction Committee; Luo Hong-fang was hired as the member of the Practical Teaching Cimmittee; Shu Hua was hired as the member of the Steering Committee of Laboratory Construction; Liu Wei-hua was hired as the member of Library Committee; Yan Bao-ping was hired as the member of the Steering Committee of Traning Excellent Talent; Zou Zhi-hong was hired as the member of the Steering Committee of Informatization Construction.

Dai Qi-hua, the Deputy Director-general of the Education Ministry of Guizhou Province, made the speech. He required the committee fulfill their duties and guide the colleges to foster talents in colleges and universities, aiming to promote the development of the colleges of Guizhou Province.
