On the afternoon of April 10, President Hou Changlin pays a visit to the School of Education of Guizhou Normal University upon invitation, and delivers a special lecture titled A Study on Application Transformation of Newly Founded Local Universities, to students of 2016 majoring in educational principle, curriculum and instruction theory, history of education, preschool education, primary education and higher pedagogy, and education management.

Professor Hou Changlin explains in details the transformation development of newly founded local universities from nine perspectives, including study on transformation school running positioning, study on philosophy foundation, internal logic study, external governing study, department and school adjustment study, discipline construction study, specialty construction study, teaching staff study, and cultural construction study. The lecture lasts 3 hours. In the process, Professor Hou Changlin explains the hot topic of transformation development of newly founded local universities in details, with profound and thorough theoretical analysis, and vivid real cases. The audience are very interested. The strict scholarship attitude and the Confucian elegance of Hou have greatly impressed the students and teachers.
