January 27 falls on the Chinese New Year's Eve. On this day, every family will be busy pasting spring poems and having a family reunion dinner. President Hou Changlin and responsible persons of related departments and schools have always kept the oversea students of Tongren University in mind. They come to Dangui Dining Hall of the University and chat with more than 100 oversea students from different countries and extend to them the wishes for the new year and spend a joyful and warm New Year's Eve with those oversea students. This is the first time those students have experienced the Chinese New Year and this makes them feel home. At the dinner, Hou Changlin has asked about the living and study of the oversea students and extended his best wishes for the new year to the students, and expressed his gratitude towards the logistics workers, security guards, and dorm supervisors who are still working when they are expected to be with their family members. Hou expresses his hope that the oversea students will spend a memorable Chinese New Year at Tongren University and feel the traditional festival culture of China.
