On the morning of January 6, the Inauguration Ceremony of Federation of Social Science and 1stMember Representative Meeting of Tongren University is held at Conference Room 8501 in the Administrative Building. Liu Fengquan, a member of Leading CPC Group of Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Sciences and the general secretary, Feng Xingui, deputy head of the Department of Science Dissemination of the Federation, Chen Liping, deputy head of the Propaganda Department of CPC Tongren Committee, and director of Tongren Civilization Office, Mou Changfei, deputy head of the Lecturers' Group and vice chairman of Tongren Federation of Social Sciences, Hou Changlin, president of Tongren University, Rao Xiaohua, deputy secretary of CPC Tongren University Committee, and Wang Jiafu, vice president, are all present.
Rao Xiaohua delivers a welcome speech. Rao points out that Tongren University has been attaching great importance to development of philosophy and social science related disciplines, and actively carrying out theoretical research and practical application of humanities and social science, and expresses his hope that the Propaganda of CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Sciences could give some opinions and suggestions on the work of the Federation of Social Science of Tongren University, so as to help Tongren University make breakthrough in development of philosophy and social science.
At the Meeting, Mou Changfei reads out the reply given by Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Sciences to the Application for Federation of Social Science of Tongren University and 1stMember Representative Meeting. Lin Fengquan and Hou Changlin jointly inaugurate the Federation of Social Science of Tongren University.
Chen Liping points out that Tongren University is the first university that has established the federation of social science in Tongren. This is the result of significance attached by CPC Tongren University Committee to the theoretical work of social science, and the theoretical awareness of the social science workers. The Federation of Social Science of Tongren University will be the pathfinder and forgoer for establishment of federation of social science in colleges and universities in Tongren, and will play a demonstrating and leading role, to lay a solid foundation for the future development of social science theory in Tongren.
Liu Fengquan says that the federation of social science in colleges and universities is a member organization of Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Science. The Provincial Federation will provide substantial support for development and construction of the Tongren University Federation of Social Science with respect to research project, academic exchange, humanity demonstration base construction, social science dissemination, organization management and talent cultivation.
After the Ceremony, the 1stMember Representative Meeting is held.
