Hosted by Chongqing Federation of Social Science Circles, Southwest University Jinyun Forum and Tongren University, and undertaken by the School of Economics and Management of the University, "Southwest University Jinyun Forum and Tongren University Academic Exchange and Activities of 'Emphasis on Targeted Poverty Alleviation in Southwest China'" is held in meeting room 8501 of the administrative building on the morning of August 1. Professor Wang Zhizhang, chairman of Southwest University Jinyun Forum, along with other sixteen people, Vice President Dai Liang, leaders from all departments and teachers and students from professional schools participate in the activities.

At the opening ceremony, Dai Liang delivers a welcome speech and extends heartfelt welcome and sincere regards to the experts, scholars and friends present. Wang Zhizhang delivers a speech and introduces to the teachers and students the origin of and achievements made by Jinyun Forum, and expresses thanks to the vigorous support of the University given to Jinyun Forum.

At the academic seminar, Wang Zhizhang and Professor Tu Jianjun from School of Geographical Sciences of Southwest University respectively give academic lectures titled by "Several Noticeable Problems Regarding Application for The National Social Science Fund of China" and "Exchange on the Experience in Applying for Natural Science Foundation of China".
