On May 23, the award ceremony on writings and speech competition of education activity themed by "all Chinese ethnic groups are a family to build the China dream with one heart" and "Five recognitions" is held in the auditorium of Guizhou Minzu University.Long Yu and Wang Zhangyun from the School of Humanities of the University participate in the competition and win good result.

The activity is hosted by Ethnic and Religions Commission, Education Department, Communist Youth League Commission of Guizhou Province and is undertaken by Guizhou Minzu University. Nearly ten thousand students from 48 universities and colleges of Guizhou participate in the competition.

In the series activities of promoting construction of ethnic culture and deepening of "Five recognitions", the Youth League committee of the University well organizes and carries out practical and effective works and obtain good results. In these activities, the university is awarded with "Award of excellent organization". Long Yu of the School of Humanities wins the "third prize" of prose. Wang Zhangyun wins the "Excellence award" of speech contest.
