On the morning of Sep.22nd, the first sports meeting of TongRen ,co-hosted by TongRen municipal government and TongRen University, was held ceremoniously in TongRen Experimental High School. The chief of GuiZhou Provincial Sports Bureau Cai GuoXiang, the secretary of municipal Party committee Liu Qifan, the mayor Xia Qingfeng and the president of TongRen University Wang Dazhong attended the splendid opening ceremony. In this sports meeting, the vice president Tian YongGuo wears two hats: one as an associate director of the sports meeting committee, another as a general director of literature and art performance. The students and faculty of TongRen University participated in six programs of the ceremony performance. Nearly ten-thousand people presented that performance. They are including athletes, coaches, performers, staff, volunteers and the masses.

It is reported that there were 2371athletes, they would participate in track and field, swimming, basketball and other 13 large items and 216 small items in the game. The Games would be closed on September 28th afternoon in the City Experimental High School Stadium.
