With a purpose of promoting the college English teaching reform and improving college English teaching levels, the first "Innovation-Cup" college English teaching contest final is held in the academic hall of Qinnan Normal College in the middle of April, which is sponsored by Foreign Languages Teaching Research Association and organized by Qinnan Normal College. Wu XiaoLing and Fu Lei Lei, English teachers in Tongren University, win the second and the third prize respectively.

In this contest, there are 30 teachers from twenty universities participating in the quarter-final competition. After fierce rivalries, six teachers out of them get the qualification to take part in the final contest. Ms.Wu and Mr Fu in our University perform so wonderfully as to achieve a great success.
