On the morning of October 12, led by Lyu Hong, chairman of the Guizhou Province Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Lin Dajian, a senator of Monterey Park, USA, Li Chunjiang, director of the Department of International Exchange of University of the West, and Peng Xinlan, executive director of Lams USA Group LLC and other companions arrive at Tongren University for negotiating inter-school cooperation. A forum is held at the Conference Room on the third floor of Administrative Building of Tongren University.

At the forum, Vice President Luo Hongfang gives an introduction to the current school-running situation of Tongren University. Lin Dajian and Li Chunjiang introduce the overall situation of the University of the West. Lyu Hong delivers a speech.

On the afternoon of the same day, the signing ceremony of cooperation framework agreement between Tongren City and Monterey Park, USA is held at the People's Hall of Tongren.

By signing the agreement, Tongren University and the University of the West have established the strategic partnership, which will serve as another platform for education internationalization of Tongren University, and will surely help with improvement of Tongren University's education internationalization.
