Recently, the results of the First National College Micro-course Teaching Design Competition have been published. The entry titled Probability Theory - Complete Probability Formula of Ms Xia Linli of the School of Science of Mathematics and the entry titled Linear Algebra - Concept of Linear Dependence and Linear Independence of Mr. Lei Hong both have won the first prize in the Southwest Competition Area. In addition, the entries submitted by Zhang Yan, Huang Yingfen, Li Wei, Yang Longxian and Tian Hua, all of which are teachers of Tongren University, have won the second prize in the Southwest Competition Area. It is reported that the first-prize entries will be included as finalists of the national final.
The Competition has lasted for nearly 4 months, involving preliminaries held in seven competition areas including East China, South China, Central China, West China, Southwest China, Southeast China and Northwest China, and the national final. In particular, the preliminary held in Southwest China involves 3 steps, the in-university screening, the provincial recommendation and appraisal of the Southwest Competition Area.
