The National Project Office has issued the Notice on Printing and Issuing the List of Outstanding Service County and College Project Offices Performing Well in the Performance Assessment for Service of Volunteer College Students for Western Program of 2014-2015, the Management Office of Service of Volunteer College Students for Western Program of Tongren University is given the title "Excellent Project Office" by the National Western Program Project Office (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Central Committee of the Communist Young League), thanks to the outstanding contributions made by Tongren University to the Western Program in 2014-2015. This is the second time that Tongren University has won this title, after it won the title in 2014. In 2015, a total of 181 colleges and universities win this title. In Guizhou, only Tongren University, Guizhou University and Guizhou Normal University have won this honor. In particular, Tongren University is the only one that has won this honorary title for 2 consecutive years.
