On March 22, the Tongren Technological Innovation Meeting is held at the People's Hall of Tongren, and the 2016 awards for science and technology are granted at the Meeting. Chen Changxu, secretary to CPC Tongren Committee, delivers a speech. Chen Yan, mayor of Tongren, chairs the Meeting. Long Lihong, deputy mayor of Tongren reads out the Decision on Granting of 2016 Awards for Science and Technology Issued by the People's Government of Tongren. The "fabrication of high-temperature and high-voltage piezoelectric acceleration sensor and technical application" of Professor Shi Wei of Tongren University as the first person in charge, and "comparative analysis of content of tea polysaccharide in 3 types of tea from the Fanjing Mountain" of Professor Chen Shixue as the first person in charge respectively win the third prize for scientific and technological progress of Tongren in 2016; the "promotion and application of a processing method of pure sweet potato needles" of Professor Li Gangfeng as a participant wins the first prize for transformation of scientific and technological achievements of Tongren in 2016.
