On February 23, the Launching Ceremony of Intelligence Support by Experts on Big Data from Colleges and Universities in Tongren City in Counties and Districts through Attachment and Big Date Innovation Application Achievement Exhibition is held in Conference Room 8501 of the Administrative Building. Wu Donglai, deputy mayor of Tongren City, Luo Hongfang, vice president of Tongren University, Xu Lian, vice president of Tongren Polytechnic College, and Luo Lei, chief economic manager from Industry and Information Technology Commission of Tongren City, and the full-time deputy director of the Tongren Big Date Office, are present at the Meeting. Others present include representatives from various districts, counties and organizations.

To effectively carry out talent reservation and cultivation, and tackle the bottlenecks of development of the bid data industry, Tongren University has set up the School of Data Science, in response to the rapid growth of the bid data industry, and the call of the CPC Tongren Committee and the municipal government. In particular, Yan Baoping, Tian Hua, Tian Bo, He Yi, Chen Wenjuan, and Liu Yanyu are sent to Bi Jiang District and Wanshan District to act as the technical consultant; Wu Haifeng and Duan Yanling are sent to Tongren High-tech Development Zone and Dalong Development Zone to provide attachment support.

At the Meeting, Wu Donglai talks in details about the current situation of development of big data industry in Tongren; Xu Lian expresses his opinions on the development of big data industry from two perspectives, talent cultivation and scientific research innovation of colleges and universities; Luo Lei reads out the Notice on Sending Yan Baoping and Other 11 Big Data Experts to Districts and Counties to Act as Technical Consultants and Provide Attachment Support Issued by the Leading Group of Big Data Industry Development in Tongren; Dalong Development Zone, Bijiang District and Yanhe Autonomous County share their experience in big data related work.
